GOOD NEWS MONDAY QUOTE FOR THE WEEK

"In life, we often need to be willing to get rid of the old, that which no longer serves us, to make room for, to prepare for the new."
~ Henriette Anne Klauser

This is a loaded quote but so relevant to every persons life.
What crap/burdens/old thoughts/baggage/people/experiences/etc, etc.  are you willing to get rid of to get to the place or person you see yourself being?  What prunning are you willing to do in your life in order to grow or continue to grow?... In my life, I've found this a necessary thing in order to grow, to stay positive, to stay balanced and continue on the path that I see myself going. It's not a good thing. It's not a bad thing.... it just is......
         ......is necessary.

From the book, Write It Down, Make It Happen. Just finished this book and absolutely loved it! Great read!

*Love the trash bag pictured above?... Me too. Tried to find a place of purchase but the most I got is that they're made by Two's  Company. Not sure that they sell them anymore. Which may be best. It'd be extremely difficult for me to use these cause they're so damn pretty. Lol.

  1. Hey there CO,

Yes indeed! we must... we must do some ole personal cleaning from time to time. And, I have in fact done just that...and how free and liberating it is ! :)

Great quote ! And thanks for sharing it with us. Take care.

  2. This post came at just the right time. My bf and I broke up about 2 weeks ago. I had known for a while that we just weren't right (long term differences) but wasn't willing to let go of him when we still loved each other and had a good relationship. I've already noticed certain areas of my life blossoming that I had stifled without even noticing when I was with him. As hard as it is now, letting go of him will free me for the person who is right for me, but more importantly, free me to fully become the person that God intends me to be.

  3. @Zainab1 - Good for you, Hon. It is quite liberating and burden-lifting.

@Moni - I'm sure alot of people, at one time or another, have been where you are. Myself included. It can be tough but it is necessary. So happy that you're already seeing positive changes in your life. I'm excited for you!
