My "Bucket" List

Good Morning!

Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the things that I still want to do in my lifetime. I do tend to analyze myself a lot. There are things that I plan to do before this year's end and then there are things that I plan/want to do period. I have absolutely no desire to leave this world w/any regrets. Which leads me to today's post:

MY BUCKET LIST (and no, I've never seen the movie)

1. Go to Japan - I am so intrigued by the Japanese culture.
2. Go to Italy - to shop, of course
3. Participate in a Spanish language immersion program - seems so much more fun than simply purchasing the Rosetta program
4. Get a tattoo - this still fluctuates on and off my list. I'm somewhat undecided.
5. Go hang gliding - that looks so relaxing and exciting at the same time
6. Be an intellectual - being "super smart" is so sexy to me
7. Have my own organic garden in my backyard
8. Go to Maxwell Concert! Oh, that's right! I'm doing that tonight. Yay Me!

So far that's what I have. Keep in mind that I tweek this from time to time. Adding or changing things as I continue to grow in my life.

What's on your "Bucket List"?.......

  1. Grea conversation piece this morning! Like others, I too have thought about this along with my list titled, Before I turn 35, I will....

Well, I'm 32 as of last week and let's just say a sista needs to pickup the pace! Anyhoo, my bucket list is ever-evolving. As of today, here are a few off the top of my head....

    1. Travel abroad: Spend 3-4 weeks in Europe taking the train to different locations
    2. Financial security: To be debt-free/build a real nest egg
    3. Start a non-profit for kids
    4. Move to San Diego
    5. Increase my social/spiritual awareness
    6. Become a better me!
    7. Marry wealthy: What?! Like you haven't thought about it (
    Ms. M

  2. Wow! Great list!! And,I ain't mad at no.7!! Hell, at this point I'll just take the "marraige". As long as he's working towards some feasible goals I'm straight! We can work on the wealth together.

  3. Hmm...
    1. Get a PhD in Sociology or English (TBD; I'm in a Masters program for Sociology now)
    2. Become at least conversationally functional in Spanish, French, Arabic, and Japanese (I love Japanese culture too!)
    3. Live on the west coast: California (although those fires have me nervous), Oregon,'s beautiful over there!
    4. Become debt free (my husband is in law school and we have a little personal debt on top of the student loan debt).
    5. See an aurora borealis (in Alaska, or other cold frigid place)
    6. Visit every continent
    7. Publish at least 1 book, academically or otherwise.

As the first poster said, it is ever-evolving!

  4. Wow! Awesome list, Bohemian Bookworm! I wish the best in all your current endeavors, also!
