What Are You Doing To Prepare for Flu Season?...


Good Morning Beautifuls!

Since the weather has turned slightly cooler, I've realized that I aside from the change in clothes I have to make I also need to change some things to protect my insides. I don't know about you but I don't have the time to be ill and that's definitely not in my budget. So to prepare for Flu season I've began taking supplements. I'm currently taking Cayenne & Garlic capsules.

Garlic helps fight colds by strengthening our immune system. Studies show that it also helps to fight some cancers, heart disease, infection (b/c of it's anti-bacterial properties), impotence, and also is beneficial in pregnancies. Now Cayenne also boasts an impressive resume. It helps the circulatory system, regulates blood flow, is useful in alleviating allergies and so much more. Try googling them both and look at their long list of health benefits. It's awesome! And these herbs are readily available at most markets/grocery stores!

I'm also trying a probiotic by Essential Formula's (Dr. Ohhira's Probiotics 12 Plus). I've read some really great reviews of this product so I'm giving it a try. If you don't know, probiotics put the good, beneficial bacteria back into our intestines and help them to function as they should (to absorb the necessary nutrients from the foods we eat to feed our bodies). They benefit our gastro intestinal health, help protect against infection, and enhance our immunity.

Of course, aside from those things its just as beneficial maybe even more to eat right, get plenty of rest, and exercise. I'm trying to do it all!
